Community Living Campaign

---Here is a video made by the Community Living Campaign. My friend David R. and myself are in the video. It was done with the intent of making the computer a more friendly situation for older adults still stigmatized by the whole process. I hope that it is realized that if you can read a roadmap ln someway that you can probably maneuver your way around a computer. Once you get the hang of it and realize that its fear is mostly in your own mind - the sky is the limit. The computer contains most of what anyone wants to know.

AGING & DISABILITY TECHNOLOGY SUMMIT

---I spoke at the Technology Summit and demonstrated my blogs. We have begun a program at LH callled the Laguna Honda Computer Club. Through affiliation with Marie Jobling of the Community Living Campaign...we have some refurbished laptop computers available for residents, ONLY,  to own by  becoming connnected with the time bank. Residents are then able to ''buy'' a refurbished laptop and ''pay'' for it making their services available and be willing to work-off the amount by sharing what they themself feel good about sharing. 24 hours or units of time are required to buy a laptop.
